Where have all the traditions gone?

asked my host mom if there was any traditions in france for the autumn. "Ummm non." No corn mazes, apple orchards and pumpkin carving? No hideous norwegian sweaters? No communal leaf raking? HOW DO PEOPLE DEAL WITH THIS?

Am in a state of consternation.

I miss my state.

    speaking of yumminess, you should introduce your host family to pumpkin pie and such! i don't know very many people who don't love pumpkin pie.
